Stonell's team of capable, well-trained and
highly motivated individuals combine their formidable

and customer service come first. Having an intimate
understanding of the product and a commitment to inform
and educate our customers on what can sometimes be
the complex issues surrounding natural stone is key
to our success.
Each consultant is given three months of in-house training
on subjects including suitability, products, geology,
quarrying, production, warehousing, packaging, stone
care, installation, protection, adhesives, grouts, patterns,
calculating quotations and generating orders. They
also spend time on site with natural stone tilers and
see how the stone is laid properly and in addition they
attend a RIBA CPD lecture on natural stone flooring. |

The learning does not stop
there, as we operate a policy of continuous development
which means that our consultants also learn
about bespoke masonry for granite kitchen worktops,
marble vanity tops, limestone shower trays and
solid stone washbasins and baths. Each year,
we take a small group of consultants to the Verona
International Stone Show and visit European quarries
and tile factories en route. We take training
seriously so that we can pass on our knowledge
to our customers when they visit one of our showrooms.
